The college admits Full time scholars for a duration of 3 years . The areas in which the scholarships are available are given under the various departments are given below

Civil Engineering

  • Structural Engineering, Structural Dynamics, Water Resources Engineering., Environmental Engineering., Experimental Machinics.

Mechanical Engineering

  • Thermal Engineering, I C Engines, Turbo-machinery, Stress Analysis, Fluid Mechanics, Metal Forming and Foundry Technology, Industrial and Technology Management, Flexible Manufacturing and Automation.

Electrical / Electronics & Communication / Computer Engineering

  • Electrical Machines and Drives, Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics, Microwave Communication, DSP, Micro electronic Devices, VLSI/Fault-Tolerant Computing.

Information Technology

Applied Physics

  • Material Science & Superconductivity, Thin-films, Fibre Optics and Optical Communication and Quantum Electronics.

Applied Chemistry

  • Polymer Science & Technology, Material Science and Polymer Composites, Ion-exchange, Electro Chemistry, Chemical Themodynamics.

Applied Mathematics

  • Fluid Dynamics Operational Calculus, Bio-Mechanics, Elasticity, Graph Theory, Mathematical Morphology, Graph Theory, Information Theory, Numerical simulation, Stochastic Processes, Neural Network, Epidemic Models, Number Theory and combinatorics, Relativistic cosmological Models, Univalent functions, Algebra, Appraimation theory.

Humanities

  • Socio-Economic studies and Feasibility analysis for Engineering & technological projects, Labour market analysis, Education and Skill- upgradation

Short listed candidates shall be called for interview. No TA/DA is admissible for interview.
NET qualified candidates having UGC/CSIR Scholarship can also be considered for admission to full-time Ph.D programs. This would be in addition to the number of scholarships/ seats mentioned above.
Prospectus and application forms, can be obtained in person on submission of a Pay Order or Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of the “Director, Delhi College of Engineering payable at Delhi” from the Reception Counter, AdministrativeBlock, Bawana Road, Delhi-110042, on all working days, i.e. Monday to Friday, 10.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. from 26.05.2008 onwards.
The request by post for the forms, accompanied by a Crossed Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- (inclusive of postal charges) drawn in favour of “Director, Delhi College of Engineering”, payable at Delhi, must reach the college latest by the dates specified below. Request for application form must indicate the applicant’s name, address, the course for which admission is sought and three self addressed slips of size 10 cm x 5 cm.
Application form can also be downloaded from the College website: www.dce.ac.in and can be submitted to the College alongwith a draft of Rs. 500/- drawn in favour of “Director, Delhi College of Engineering payable at Delhi”.
