The Team Endeavour 2005 from Delhi College of Engineering was the first team from Asia and India to participate in the Supermileage competition. Team Endeavour was a group of fifteen 15 diligent students who started chasing their dreams in search of perfection. It was flagged off by Smt. Sheila Dixit, the Chief Minister of Delhi. The team performed exceptionally well at the competition itself, being placed 16th overall, among 38 registered teams. The major achievements were being placed 4th in design, and wining two of the awards, namely Vehicle with Greatest Visual Appeal” for aesthetics and aerodynamic design, and “Best Demonstrated Team Attitude for being the most promising first timer. The team received accolades from all quarters. From then onwards the project continues itself as a gift presented to the new generation for its progress and technical advancement.

2006 proved to be fairly good year for the project.The team created waves in the 2006 competition by participating with an engine, having engine head independently designed by the students, even in spite of the meagre facilities available to them. Its efforts were appreciated by one and all.

2007 team bagged one of the most prestigious Best Design Report Award for most technically sound vehicle.
