Working with the team demands a lot. The team must prepare and adhere to a strict schedule, draft technical documents, and budget its activities, while designing and producing a reliable and well-engineered product. Apart from that one has to maintain and coordinate the activities thereby inculcating a team spirit which is just like ‘learning to walk’ in the professional world. Such projects are the real fun of engineering as they help not only to enhance the technical knowledge but also polish the managerial skills
-Industries and academia have come closer than ever in the recent years. Market is of no use unless we know what exactly had to be done for its promotion. It is here that engineering comes into picture.
-Being associated with such projects at undergraduate level fills students with fervor for R&D sector

Future goals

--The team wishes to make its mark in Shell Eco-Marathon (Europe) with an alternate fuel vehicle in 2008, apart from maintaining its hold in SAE Supermileage Competition (in which it has participated twice).
--As far as the commercial scope of the small capacity four stroke engines is concerned, they can have broad spectrum of applications in automotive as well as non-automotive trades. There had been an incessant demand in India for low cost yet fuel efficient solutions. The team is studying the possibility of designing a single-seated, low cost, minimal emission vehicle having applications in everyday life.
